We seek a Director of Product to help roadmap our digital ecosystem; to anticipate and exceed customers’ expectations; to manage and inspire our PMs; to lead cross-functional, multi-vendor teams to execute complex initiatives; to evangelize our vision internally; to be an exacting, exceptional and leader. You’ll advance our brand in our app, on the Web, on WeChat, to IoT, and beyond.
· Leadership: You have 5+ years managing and inspiring others. Your direct reports will include a diverse team of PMs and designers: you will appraise performance, mentor career development, and structure their work around team OKRs. You’ll be a primary channel to champion our initiatives to internal leaders and in-the-trenches staff.
· Design: You must have a demonstrated passion for UI/UX excellence. You will be responsible for delivering customer delight. You’ll have extensive on-the-ground experience with Chinese consumers to localize our products. At the same time, you’ll harmonize experiences with our global design standards, working closely with our Seattle team.
· Data: You have 10+ years experience in marketing technology or measurement of digital products. You’ll establish a framework for defining, measuring, and optimizing performance for all of our fast-moving products. At the same time, you’ll be responsible for leveraging our valuable customer data to find new product experiences to meaningfully engage with our customers.
· Technology: You must have 10+ years experience as a Product Manager for software products. You must have good working knowledge of modern software development and architecture: from design patterns, to cloud infrastructure & DevOps, to pros & cons of development approaches. You will be a key point person to drive forward stable, secure, and robust solutions that minimize technical debt.
Planning & Execution: You will manage product lifecycle for key digital products. You’ll craft a product pipeline that takes business requirements, customer complaints, store partner feedback, and turns those into user stories, and turns those into a feature prioritization backlog, and turns that into a structured, globally-aligned roadmap. You’ll work to find amazing external vendors to help cadence and execute. And you’ll oversee that development – rallying and broadly communicating to cross-functional teams, internal leaders, and vendors – to deliver on-time.
